Scheduled Maintenance

Ireland - AIS/AES/NCTS - Scheduled maintenance Apr 28, 2025 11:00-12:45 CEST

Dear Customer

We have received the following information from Customs Authorities concerning a scheduled maintenance.

If you require assistance, please contact our Customer Support team via the ticket portal.

"The EU Commission have advised that, as part of ongoing maintenance of their IT systems, they will be undertaking an upgrade between 10:00hrs and 11:30hrs on Monday 28 April 2025.

You may continue to submit declarations and messages to the systems, but delays may occur with the following:
• Receiving an MRN for your declaration
• Receiving a routing message for your declaration

Once the systems are restored, queued messages will be processed as normal. If any of your messages submitted to the customs systems listed below are rejected, the message will have to be resubmitted when the system becomes available. Any affected PoUS declarations can be submitted once the PoUS system is available.

Our expectation is that there may be some impact for trade on the following systems and declarations:

- AIS - Automated Import System - Certex/CVED/COI's
- AES - Automated Export System - Indirect Export Declarations
- NCTS P5 - New Customs Transit System - Outbound Transit Declarations and Notification of Arrival of Inbound Transits

Action by Trade:
If you do encounter issues with any of these systems during the unavailability, require fallback or are unable to create a PBN, please contact ecustoms@revenue.ie .

Revenue apologises for any inconvenience caused by these downtimes."
